October Color Cruise

We will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Neighborhood Market on east Hwy 412: 3553 E. Robinson Ave., Springdale. We will plan to leave at 8:45 a.m., heading to St. Joe, Arkansas. We will make a bathroom stop at the  Arkansas Welcome Center in Harrison.

Then we will head to Ferguson’s Country Store & Restaurant in St. Joe, for lunch of either meatloaf or brisket with mashed potatoes, vegetable and a roll. Cost is $11.95. Beverages and dessert are available, each at an extra charge.

The return trip will be our chance to see the fall colors. We will drive the Arkansas Tail of the Dragon, the Buffalo River Valley, the Arkansas Grand Canyon, and many miles of trees and beautiful vistas. This will be a longer cruise. You can expect to be gone for up to 7 hours. Be sure your gas tank is full before we leave town.

If you have already let me know you will be joining in this week’s trip, there is no need to contact me again. If you haven’t let me know you are going to join us this week, please let me know, including your lunch choice. We have to let the restaurant know by Wednesday at noon, so please try to get back to me by Tuesday evening.
